Early October 2026Applicants will be informed of the outcome of their application
23 October 2026– Deadline for those offered a bursary or grant to accept
– Deadline for those offered a talk to accept
27 November 2026 Deadline for successful applicants to register and pay the conference fee
14 December 2026 Round 2 opens for attend-only places
Early January 2027If you require a visa to enter the UK you should submit your application now
15 January 2027 Round 2 closes at 23:59 (GMT)
First week of February 2027Round 2 applicants will be informed of the outcome of their application
12 February 2027Refunds for accommodation bookings at St Catharine’s cannot be made after this date
19 February 2027 Deadline for those offered a 2nd Round place to register and pay the conference fee
Late February 2027 Registered delegates will be sent list of available workshops to select their top 3 preferences
First week of March 2027Conference Programme published online
Registration for online attendance opens
12 March 2027 – Deadline for amendments to poster and talk abstracts
– Deadline for workshop selection (allocations will be emailed to delegates the following week)
15 March 2027Poster and talk abstracts published online
27 March 2027SCCS Bursary and Grant delegates arrive in Cambridge
29 March 2027 Delegates giving talks to arrive midday on Monday to test their presentations in the Zoology Main Lecture Theatre
30 March 2027Conference opens with Registration in the Elementary Lab from 8.45am
1 April 2027 Prizes are awarded and conference closes at 16.15
